Have a contract already with a phone company? Want to switch to Cingular and get an iPhone in June? Well, this story on digg tells you how. Plus, WIRED Magazine and WikiHow have more tips on escaping your contract. Plus, Apple and Cingular may offer a special contract that would make it easier for non-Cingular companies to get an iPhone.

Today’s the big day!

If you’re a total Apple geek like me, today’s the holiest day of the year — Steve Jobs’ Macworld keynote. And, if you’re like me and couldn’t attend in person, UneasySilence has provided a list of live Internet text feeds to track what “one more thing” Steve Jobs will be releasing this time. So keep your eyes peeled at your computer screen for 9 AM to 11 AM PDT for the biggest Apple event of the year.

WWDC and Vacation

Hey guys, sorry for not posting in a while, it’s just that I’m currently on vacation now. I was in London from the 28th to theis past Saturday, and I’m currently in Rome and will stay here until Friday, and then I’ll be in Italy’s Amalfi Coast until the 17th. London was great but I’ve already been there before, but Rome is just amazing, especially me being the history buff I am. More on my vacation to come later.

As for WWDC, which I hope most of you have been following, I have a bunch of things to say:

Mac Pro - Awesome, great that Apple finally breaks 3GHz, but way out of my price range.

Xserve - Coll wuith Intel, but server products are of no interest to me.

Leopard - Soooooooooooooooooo cool. Number one favorite features: Time Machine (similar to Windoze XP’s System Restore, love Time Machine’s interface), Mail 3.0 (Notes and RSS), Spaces (liek Virtual Desktops on Linux and a program tahyt does Virtual Desktop for OS X), and new iChat (screen sharing and cool backgrounds).

For more detailed coverage, read the posts by my colleagues at MacUser, at http://www.macuser.com

MacUser and First Podcast Review Copies

This post has two things in it. The first is MacUser. Just yesterday I was invited to join the Macworld Magazine run blog, MacUser. MacUser is a blog where a bunch of, well, Mac users, get togather and blog about Mac stuff. This is VERY cool becuase I’m working with adults on this blog AND getting opaind $5 per post to do it! Now that’s awesome! I’ve already posted three times, so head of to MacUser.com to check it out. Also, because I’m posting on MacUSer is that this blog may not be posted on as frequently. Sorry, but that’s what has to be done.

Also, today I got my first TWO free review copies for my podcast! The first, which I was expecting, was an IPevo Free-1 USB Skype phone, and the second, totally unexpected because I’m on a waiting list, is the Logitech S 350 Cordless Desktop for Mac. Both are very cool and will be reviewed in future episodes.
