I found this story about Woz (Steve Wozniak, co-founder o Apple for you non mac-geeks) on the Cult of Mac blog earlier today. It really is quite hilarious.

Pirates of Silicon Valley

I’ve always wondered, now why hasn’t someone ever made a movie about the history of Silicon Valley/Apple/Microsoft? Well now my dream has come true. Pirates of Silicon Valley was a made-for-TV movie made in 1999 on TNT about the history of Apple and Microsoft and their founders Bill Gates (played by Anthony Michael Hall) and Steve Jobs (played by Noah Wyle), respectively. The film even includes their own version of Macworld 1999 (http://www.epicempire.com/computers/steve-jobs-keynote-surprise.html, curtosy of Macuser.com and Digg.com)!!!!!!!! Though I have not seen teh movie yet, I plan and renting a copy in the near future.

JPSI

On January 30th’s Daily Show, Jon Stewart used a the term JPSI, or, Jewiness-per-sqaure-inch, as a value for describing now former Chairman of the Federal Reserve, Alan Greenspan. Greenspan recieved a 59 JPSI, while an orthodox Jew (the most religious) wearing tefilin (little black boxes that go on one of your arms and your forehead) recieved a 61 (correct me if I’m wrong). Assuming if this is correct, than my picture (see About section of sidebar) would recieve about a 10. Submit in other pictures or grade a pic yourself on JPSI.

State of the Union 2006

As most of you know, Bush gave his annual State of the Union address last night. I have my own adaptation on how it Bush would have liked it to have went (due to his recent adaptation of the iPod)…
